Litigation Attorney – Immigration Court (Individual & Detained Hearings)

Location: Orlando Office | Position Type: Full-Time

We’re seeking a Litigation Attorney — a litigation superstar who will focus exclusively on Individual Hearings, Master Hearings, and Detained Cases before the Immigration Court. Position Overview

As a Litigation Attorney , you will play a pivotal role in representing immigrants in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and guiding our litigation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Prepare and conduct Individual Hearings before EOIR
\n
• Represent clients in detained and non-detained cases
\n
• Supervise, train, and mentor immigration paralegals and legal assistants
\n
• Draft and review:
\n
• Asylum Applications (I-589)
\n
• 42B and 42A Applications
\n
• Adjustment of Status before EOIR
\n
• Bond Motions
\n
• Prosecutorial Discretion Requests
\n
• Motions to Terminate / Admin Close
\n
• Other immigration filings as needed
\n
• Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration case law and policy changes
\n

Qualifications & Experience

\n
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
\n
• Licensed and in good standing with any U.S. state bar
\n
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in U.S. immigration litigation, with direct EOIR representation experience required
\n
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Immigration Law, EOIR procedures, and federal immigration litigation
\n
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads, meet deadlines, and mentor junior staff
\n
• Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and case strategy skills
\n
• Proficiency with legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw)
\n
• Spanish proficiency strongly preferred, but not required
\n
